ABOUT DANA
Photograph by Steve Gullick

Dana Margolin (London, 1993) is a painter, writer and musician known for fronting the band Porridge Radio. Her work centres and gives form to her emotional landscape, often in frank, confessional languages. Margolin’s most recent body of work draws from her extensive writing. These paintings are ruminations and explorations of form and meaning; words both as poetic symbols and physical entities. It is here that her brutal vernacular of emotional transparency is most apparent, confrontational in its formal immediacy and decisive vulnerability.
